Mike Rounds fended off attacks Thursday night from most of his four Republican rivals for the U.S. Senate in the first and possibly only televised debate of the race. The 90-minute forum, hosted by South Dakota Public Broadcasting, started slowly with policy-focused questions. But by the time candidates walked off the stage, front-runner Rounds had taken fire from all sides.
