Keep oversight of leaders’ debates ‘light’, U.S. debates commission tells MPs

If the Canadian government is going to create an institution to organize federal leaders’ debates, it is “critical” to keep the new structure “light and agile,” the head of the U.S. commission on election debates told MPs today.
