What Did $200 Wi-Fi Buy Journalists At The Presidential Debate? Depends On When They Tried To Use It

Many news outlets have reported that Hofstra University charged journalists $200 for Wi-Fi access during the presidential debate on Monday night. In and of itself, this isn’t surprising as charging for Wi-Fi access at events like this is fairly common. A controversy arose, however, when it appeared Hofstra was trying to shut down the use of personal Wi-Fi hotspots.
