Malawi’s presidential candidates differ over tax holiday

Different positions emerged among political parties that took part in the last of the three presidential debates in Blantyre on how they would handle matters of taxation on foreign investors once voted into office on May 20 this year. The 11 candidates on Tuesday demonstrated a clear distinction on whether to remove or not the tax holiday the country imposes on foreign investors.
