Presidential debate: Now or never?

The debate about the debate now serves as a metaphor for the state of Argentina’s democracy, a little more than 30 years after the end of the last military dictatorship. Leadership still finds it hard to stick to rules or seek to find the loopholes in them. Every once in a while, they push for reform that they hope will benefit them in the short term.
