President Trump on Wednesday said he would debate the eventual Democratic presidential nominee, putting to rest, at least temporarily, questions about whether he would take part in general election debates.

The debate is being facilitated by Move On Guyana Inc. and the University of Guyana Workers’ Union (UGWU) and will take place at the campus’ Education Lecture Theatre (ELT) at 18:00hrs.

That’s where UM’s Debate Steering Committee and Debate Core Teams come in. The 19-member steering committee has been engaging with students and the university community to develop events that can take place ahead of and surrounding the Oct. 15 debate at the Crisler Center.
