Ahead of the elections in February, advocacy group, Enough Is Enough Nigeria is organising a Presidential and Governorship election debate series called ‘The Peoples’ Debate’.

An Electioneering Group, Voters Awareness Initiative, on Tuesday said it had concluded plans to organise a debate for presidential and governorship candidates in the 2015 general election.

The overall interest of Nigerians should be paramount at all times, therefore, what should constitute a vital component of the electoral process is a virile presidential debate that would enable eligible voters have a clear picture of what the candidates and their parties have to offer them.

As part of its social responsibilities to the society, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council is to organize a political debate for candidates of all political parties as they emerge from their various party primaries.
